-dunno what was goin on in Jason Molina’s life when he wrote this record but it was definitely somethin pretty big.
-sounds like he knows something we don’t in this one. Simple three piece jams. Amazing.

-this guy was one of the first proper gospel singers. Playin some strange zither-type instrument called a dulceola. Message is pretty clear, sincerity ain’t the word!

pj harvey & john parish – is that all there is?
- an even more twisted version of the Peggy Lee original.
lightnin hopkins – short haired woman
- could’ve been any hopkins tune really. best blues guitarist ever in my opinion.
