NOTORIOUS HI-FI KILLERS

recommends:

10 typically eclectic chunks I’ve been listening to recently;

Let’s Start (live)- Fela Kuti with Ginger Baker (1971)

Adam at 2076 turned us on to this recording – it’s just incredible – if only I had a time machine…

I Hate CDs – The Legendary Stardust Cowboy

Says it all really…

Paper Dolls – The Nerves

Lost garage classics… a well underrated band.

Dead West – Moon Duo

YES !

Lying – Factory Floor

Opens up and bores right through your third eye…

Fishlicker – Drumcunt

Ex-drummers eh?

Complication – Black Bombaim

Come on Portugal !

Lah Jani – Omar Souleyman

There’s been an electric Saz knocking around the studio for a while now – no-one’s managed to mastered it to this level it has to be said…

Tender Abyss – Seahawks

As far as I know you can’t stream this anywhere online so you’ll just have to buy it. However, this being limited to a pressing of 75 you’ll be lucky to find a copy… I really can’t recommend this enough though.

Sugar Man – Sixto Rodriguez

Thanks to my missus, Priscilla, who discovered this one via a pilates session at the gym - ?!?!!

New EP “Behind The Smoke And Mirrors” on 2076 available soon…
