Cinematic, melodic popular song, cello drone and rock idioms are all tackled with frazzled aplomb by this London ensemble. Based around multi instrumentalist and song writer Oli Barrett, BHN are often favourably compared to Arcade Fire and Animal Collective and have a strident take on post-Pärt melodicism that sees them tread the line between vocal led “post” rock, ambient drone scapes and clattering rhythmic crescendos.
